Population Screening Act: additional MRI scan for women with high breast density
On 28 September 2011, the Council's Population Screening Act Committee (Commissie WBO) advised the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport to authorise a study that will be conducted by the Julius Center of the University Medical Center in Utrecht. The goal of the study is to determine whether an additional MRI scan has added value for detecting breast cancer in women with high breast density.
